Personality: Shadow is a bit rough around the edges, especially when it comes to dealing with others. He was created by Doctor Eggman's grandfather, Doctor Gerald Robotnik. Exactly why has been lost, as Gerald Robotnik, as well as his granddaughter Maria and all his notes concerning the project, were lost in an unprovoked attack by a Fire dragon called Iblis. Shadow seems to know why the ancient dragon attacked, but has refused to tell.
Despite his roughness, Shadow does have a softer side that he rarely shows. His ways of showing that he actually cares may not be normal, or direct, but they are there, if you know how to look. He was the one to discover Silver after the young dragon's parents were killed by Mephiles, and help keep his powers in check until Doctor Eggman could create something to help.
